Advised on risk factors related technology design and EPC of key suppliers, validation of biological production models and operations. Assessment of the financial model to verify and benchmark key opex and capex assumptions.

Advised a multinational global corporation on developing a new technology solution for the global aquaculture industry. Advised technology and market team on the technology requirements of customers and produced a competitor overview in terms of offerings and pricing. We conducted interviews with both potential clients and competitors that provided our client with market intelligence on technology design, business model and go-to-market strategy including list of targeted customers and our client’s value proposition offering to the targeted clients.

Use case

Sustainability and ESG report for an aquaculture company to assess the sustainability impact of a new technology in salmon farming. We provided advice to the client in how to set up a ESG framework, identify clear objectives and impact targets on environmental, social and governance. The ESG report was a strategic document to position the business case to target sustainable and high impact financing clients.

Supporting the world’s largest animal feed company on bespoke innovation scouting in aquaculture nutrition and animal health. Hatch is assisting the client to identify new innovation opportunities within targeted strategic areas fo the client. We have built a bespoke innovation pipeline of +200 new venture companies and facilitate conversation and innovation landscaping of new technologies.
